LETHBRIDGE LEGAL GUIDANCE
Working to create equal and equitable access in Southern Alberta

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional lands and territories of the Indigenous Peoples who have lived on and cared for these lands for generations.
Lethbridge Legal Guidance is located on Treaty 7 Territory, the traditional ancestral lands of the Siksikasitapi – The Blackfoot Confederacy – which includes the Kainai Nation, Piikani Nation, Amskapi Piikani, and Siksika Nation. Treaty 7 is also home to the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Stoney Nakota Nations and lies within the historic Northwest Metis Homeland, known as the Battle River Territory. We honour and appreciate the many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Peoples who have lived on and cared for these lands for generations. We acknowledge and thank the Traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders, past and present, for their wisdom and contributions in sustaining and nurturing this land.
With gratitude and humility, Lethbridge Legal Guidance offer this acknowledgement as a step toward reconciliation, understanding, and respect.
