Who we are:
Lethbridge Legal Guidance (LLG) is a non-profit society providing free legal advice, information and education to Albertans who are not able to afford access to justice.

How it works:
Volunteer lawyers donated their professional time to meet with clients and provide legal advice, information and education. If we cannot offer direct assistance, we will refer the client to the appropriate person(s) or agency.
Representation in court may be available.
The Lethbridge Legal Guidance Society offers pro bono legal services in a variety of areas of law to lower income residents of Lethbridge and the surrounding area.
Job location: Lethbridge Legal Guidance Office, Lethbridge, AB.
Position: Full Time Staff Counsel
Reports to: Executive Director
Duties will include:
• Meeting with, and advising clients
• Representation of clients in court.
• Generally overseeing the legal work carried out by the Society
in delivering pro bono services to our Community
Must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta (or eligible for membership) and a general grounding and experience in family law, civil and criminal litigation, and residential tenancy issues.
Salary and Benefits will be discussed only with candidate(s) contacted for an interview.
